How far will you go?

The exhibition Future Human at Experimentarium in Denmark brings visitors to a near future. Visitors can experiment with six emerging technologies that promise to change their life. The question is: How far will they go? Six technologies that are expected to have a significant impact on our lives in the next 10-15 years. Visitors can experiment and learn about: cloning, brain implants, genetic manipulation, deepfake, sentiment analysis, and cosmetic surgery. New technology brings new possibilities and also raises ethical considerations. In the exhibition visitors gain insights into exciting new technologies while being challenged to consider where their own personal limits lie.

Power up the brain: Visitors try treating 3 different patients by implanting a brain implant with a steady hand. But be careful, one mistake and the patient won’t survive.

Snip a new heart: Visitors try genetically modifying a pig’s heart to remove all the pig’s DNA that their body can’t tolerate. How would they feel about having something from an animal living inside their body?

Fake your life: Visitors try manipulating photos with deepfake technology for social media to make themselves look cool.

Fix your look: Experiment with your appearance on the interactive operating table. Consider whether cosmetic technology is truly the way forward for you before you fix it with implants, sprays, Botox, or lasers.

Clone your pet: Visitors experience how many dog clones they can create before the timer runs out and consider whether avoiding grief is worth it.

Monitor your love: In the dating salon, a computer can uncover what visitors and their date feel for each other, and meanwhile, they can consider whether the uncertainty is best removed or just a natural part of falling in love.

“As always, Kiss the Frog has a sure technical hand, so software works - not only in theory - but works in practice when the guests are in the exhibition.”
