Versteeg's Children

''Versteeg's Children should now go to bed.'' This was the secret code sent to the Dutch Railway management board to confirm that the call to strike, through Radio Orange of 17 September 1944 was authentic. The code meant that railway employees had to go on strike immediately, by order of the Dutch government in London. In the exhibition 'Versteeg's Children' visitors of the Railway Museum learn more about the role of the Dutch Railways during the Second World War. Discover the collection of the museum in an interactive set-up and read the stories behind the objects.

Kiss the Frog was responsible for the graphic design, software development and hardware integration. The interactives are linked to a website, and content across both platforms is synchronised using Backstage. This keeps texts, images and videos up-to-date at all times and in all places.
