By stepping into the wonderful (under)water world of ‘Plons!’, children playfully discover that they can influence their world themselves. For example, by building a sea farm, creating clean energy, helping to clean up the sea and building ships inspired by nature’s design.
Kiss the Frog designed and developed seven so-called ‘creative spots’ for this purpose. The games are a combination of hands-on and digital, so the hardware setup is different for each game. The games can be played separately, but the results of most games are saved by scanning an RFID wristband. At the end station, these results are combined in a video, which can then also be shared with and by the visitor.
At one of our interactive creative stations, children can physically colour their own fish, crab, or shell by hand. Once their masterpiece is complete, it’s scanned at a special station—then the magic begins! Their artwork transforms into a lifelike digital version, brought to life through a Pepper’s Ghost illusion inside a giant fishbowl. From there, it swims or moves into a vibrant underwater world, projected on a large screen for everyone to enjoy.
“A resounding success, which even led to sold-out days during the holidays.”
