The Chocolate Factory
Create your box of chocolate sprinkles
Visitors form a team and go through interactive assignments in which they operate machines and learn everything about the production process of chocolate sprinkles.
Visitors create a box of chocolate sprinkles:
- Use a robot arm to fill an empty sprinkle package.
- Take a fun photo in the photo booth to add to their packaging.
- Design a custom sprinkle package.
At the end of their adventure, their custom-made sprinkles will be waiting for them in The Chocolate Shop—ready to take home!
Design a one-of-a-kind food bar
Visitors also develop their very own food bar, making key decisions along the way:
- Decide on the ingredients—how healthy, how expensive, and what flavours?
- Weigh the ingredients from the silos.
- Blend the ingredients, adjusting temperature and texture.
- Test senses in a fun scent quiz.
- Play pinball machines to earn points and win chocolate callets to taste.
- Pull the lever and watch as the food bar drops onto the belt!
The combination of industrial heritage and modern technology makes this visit an unforgettable experience for families with children from 6 years old, school trips and team outings.
The secret ingredient behind The Chocolate Factory?
Experios is the operating system behind the scenes of The Chocolate Factory! Each visitor receives an RFID wristband that tracks their progress in the interactive missions. Actions, choices, scores, and creations are stored, allowing them to complete the missions and take home their created box of chocolate sprinkles and/or their designed food bar as a unique souvenir.
To bring this experience to life, Kiss the Frog uses Experios, our solid back-end system that connects all interactions. It tracks visitors’ progress and scores, collects interactive results, controls entry turnstiles, manages time-based access control, and adjusts activities based on crowd levels.
A reception desk application enables staff to view and edit visitor information. Additionally, it allows access to specific areas to be adjusted based on wristband type and provides real-time insights into the number of visitors in the experience. Experios is integrated with a third-party ticketing system providing a seamless visitor experience. With our partner Go Wonder we designed a hardware solution for The Chocolate Factory with an NFC reader, speaker and display to power the login kiosks for the experience.
“Play, learn and make your pack of sprinkles with a fantastic machine. Experience the magic of a real factory in The Chocolate Factory.”
