The DoSeum
Kiss the Frog was asked to design and develop seven interactive games for Uniquely Us that explore concepts like race and unity in a way every learner can understand. The exhibition celebrates our unique identities and encourages social cohesion through empathy and the quality of our relationships.
Step in front of a big screen and activate the Gene Scanner! Visitors can discover just how much of their DNA they share with other humans and living creatures. After the scan, they’ll see that they are 99.9% genetically identical to every other human. Then comes the fun part: comparing their DNA with that of a cat, dog, chicken, green algae, or even a banana. A playful graphic appears over their live image, visually highlighting these surprising genetic connections.
Explore a series of animated scenarios based on real-life dilemmas. As each story unfolds, visitors are asked to make choices and reflect on how they’d feel in that situation. By stepping into someone else’s experience, they’ll discover new perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of empathy and emotional response.
Gather around a multi-touch table where up to four players can join in. Watch a timeline animation zoom into a city, revealing four different households—each with limited resources. Through teamwork and smart choices, players can share what they have to support their neighbors and help the community flourish. It’s all about cooperation, fairness, and collective well-being!
Interact with a touchscreen filled with thought-provoking questions related to the exhibition’s themes race. Visitors tap to select their answers and see how their opinions compare with those of other visitors. A fun and engaging way to spark curiosity and conversation.
“I have returned to Kiss the Frog several times now to work on the multimedia of our exhibitions. They are easy to work with and deliver great results.”
Meredith Doby, Vice President of Exhibits at The DoSeum
