Vrak - Museum of Wrecks
Three of the five exhibits are part of ‘The Assignment,’ an interactive experience where visitors step into the shoes of a maritime archaeologist. Guided by experts in the field, they work to uncover the story of the Anna Maria wreck.
First, in ‘The Dive,’ they’ll use VR, virtual reality, to submerge into the Baltic Sea, uncovering key artefacts from the sunken ship. Next, in ‘Analyse and Date,’ they team up with virtual experts to analyze their findings and piece together the story. Finally, in ‘Search the Archive,’ they’ll unlock the last clues in an interactive archive, revealing the full story behind the wreck and understanding why it sank.
Additionally, Kiss the Frog has created an informative display showcasing eight different ship types. Each ship type is displayed as a 3D model, with a specific part highlighted for closer examination. Visitors can rotate the model to explore different angles and learn more about the details of each ship type.
In the interactive projection ‘Ornamentation,’ visitors can spread digital patterns across a paddle and water, bringing the exhibit to life. Visitors engage with an interactive projection, using a brush, they can select a pattern and apply it to a physical paddle. The pattern then spreads across the paddle’s blade and onto the water, creating a dynamic visual experience.
“It was a pleasure working with you and I hope we will get a chance to work together again soon.”
